Max B. Striar, noted in Textile Industry, Dies - The death of Max B. Striar, 64, widely known in the new England textile industry, occurred early Tuesday morning at Worcester, Mass., following a short illness. Born in Russia, the son of David P. and Annie B. striar, he came to this country at the age of six years, and spent early life in Bangor, attending the local schools. He later moved to Worcester, Mass., where he became engaged in the textile industry. Surviving are his wife, Sonia, of Worcester; two sons, Paul and Elliott Striar of Worcester: a daughter, Mrs. Suzanne Fieldman of Hartford, Conn.; two brothers, R.W. Striar of Boston and Gordon of Bangor; and four grandchildren.
