MAX LIEBERMAN, BROOKLINE, MASS. - Max Lieberman, 60, of 57 Thornton Road, Chestnut Hill, died Thursday in a Brookline hospital. He was born in Bangor, Maine, Oct. 15, 1907, the son of Abraham and Minnie (Striar) Lieberman. He attended Bangor High School and graduated from the University of Maine. He served four years in the U.S.Army Air Corps in World War II. He was a sales representative for the Spencer Jewelry Company in Cranston, R.I. he was a member of the Mt. Sinai Lodge of Masons, and the Temple Emeth and its Brotherhood of Chestnut Hill, and the 30 Club, a jewelry sales organization. Besides his parents, who reside in Bangor, he is survived by his wife, Eleanor M. (Kornbliet) Lieberman; a brother, Leo of London, England. He was the brother of Dr. Arthur Lieberman and Samuel Lieberman of Bangor, both of whom are now deceased. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Temple Emeth, Chestnut Hill. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park.
