Mrs. Viner, 86, Taken By Death - Mrs. Gitel Viner, 86, of Bangor, died at her home, 199 Essex Street, Thursday after a long illness. She was the widow of Harry Viner. A resident of Bangor for many years, she was born in Russia July 8, 1880, the daughter of Ethraim and Susie (Luciania) Medwed. She was amember of the Beth Abraham Synagogue, the Sisterhood of Beth Abraham,Hadassah, B'nai B'rith and the Eastern Maine General Hospital Auxiliary. Surviving are four sons, William, Samuel, Leo and Benjamin, all ofBangor; two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Galecen of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Miss Anne Winer of Miami, Fla.; grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
