Mrs. Edythe Shapiro - Newport - Mrs. Edythe Shapiro, 64, of Newport, died early Monday morning at the Plummer Memorial Hospital at Dexter following a long illness. Mrs. Shapiro was born at Bangor, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Simon Ginsberg. She was educated in the Bangor and Dover-Foxcroft schools. She was treasurer of Nakomis Chapter, OES, of Newport, at the time of her death. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and American Legion Auxiliary of Newport, and a past president of the Newport Business and Professional Women
