BENJAMIN VINER - BANGOR, LAKE WORTH, Fla. and LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Benjamin Viner, 90, died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, at Four Courts Senior Center in Louisville, Ky. He was a native of Bangor. He was a lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy during World War II, co-owner of Viner Music Company of Bangor, an avid golfer and an accomplished percussionist. He was a member of Beth Abraham Synagogue in Bangor and Adath Jeshurun synagogue of Louisville, Ky. He is survived by his children, Robert (Leigh) Viner of Louisville, Ky., Sarah (Elliot) Simhon of Haifa, Israel and Jonathan Viner of Kingfield; and four grandchildren, Shoshanna, Gabriel and Nava Simhon and Nathan Viner. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2005. Family and friends should meet 10:30 a.m. at the Jewish Chapel on Center Street before proceeding in procession to the graveside burial service at Beth Abraham Cemetery.
