MILLICENT R. SMITH --Millicent R. Smith, 47, wife of Richard A. Smith, died Oct.17, 1955, in a Portland Hospital. Born in Bangor, she was a daughter of the late Julie and Hazel Smith Robinson. She graduated from Deering High School, Portland, received a B.S. degree from the University of Maine, Orono, and M.S. degree from the University Of Maine, Gorham. Since 1983, Mrs. Smith had been the supervising principal at SAD No 6. She is survived by her husband, Richard A. Smith of Buxton; her mother of Bangor; one son, Aaron J. Smith; one daughter, Samantha J. Smith, both of Buxton; one brother, Mark H. Robinson of Gulf Shores, Ala. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Millicent R. Smith Scholarship Fund, care of Bangor Eagle High School 700 Saco Road, Standish 04084.
